Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Information entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Bosque County Court Docket does not keep or record those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, the message is retained so that we can respond. We do not disclose that correspondence outside our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers may receive routine technical information when a page loads, including:
- Your device's IP address
- Browser name and version
- Operating system and device category
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when available
- The date and time of each page request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. We use them with analytics services to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited and where visits end. A browser can block cookies, although doing so may change how some site functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Operate the website and maintain its performance
- Route a query to the appropriate search partner
- Understand which pages are useful to visitors
- Diagnose and repair technical problems
- Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Bosque County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. It provides general directions to the Bosque County District Clerk, County Clerk, 220th Judicial District Court, County Court at Law, local courts, and re:SearchTX. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report. This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search tools shown on the website. A query submitted through one of those tools is governed by that company's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices. We do not control those terms. Review the provider's policy before entering information.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Bosque County clerk pages, Texas court portals, re:SearchTX, legal-aid resources, or outside search tools. Once you follow an external link, the destination's privacy policy governs the visit. Consider that policy before providing personal details.
Some advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and tailor ads. Their tracking does not operate as our own court-record database.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be available to:
- Search providers that process queries submitted to them
- Analytics companies that measure traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that place ads on the website
- Government or law-enforcement authorities acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
We use generally accepted safeguards for information under our control. No internet service can guarantee complete security, however. We take reasonable measures to reduce risk but cannot promise that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If we learn that a minor provided personal data, we will remove it promptly.
Your Data Rights
Rights can vary with a user's location and the law that applies. The Texas Public Information Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 552, governs requests for public information held by covered Texas government bodies; it does not turn this private website into a government records custodian. Subject to applicable privacy and consumer-protection law, you may:
- Request a copy of personal information we retain about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of information where the law allows
- Object to or opt out of certain processing where a right applies
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this privacy policy as practices or legal requirements change. The revised policy will appear here with a new effective date. Review this page periodically if you want to track those changes.
